Top ranked Toyota Alvark (31-5) recorded its fifth loss in Tokyo on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by second ranked Tochigi Brex (28-7) 72-63. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. The guests trailed by 5 points at the halftime before their 41-27 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was American power forward Ryan Rossiter (204-89, college: Siena) who had a double-double by scoring 28 points and 17 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tochigi Brex have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 28-7 record having four points less than leader Toyota Alvark. Toyota Alvark at the other side still keeps top place with five games lost.
