Round 2 most important game was a victory of Steaua CSM over U-Banca TR 76-72 on Saturday night. The guests trailed by 1 point after three quarters before their 24-19 charge, which allowed them to win the game. It was a great shooting night for Steaua CSM especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. Serbian point guard Marko Marinovic (183-83) orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points and 4 assists. American Bill Amis (206-87, college: Hawaii, agency: Pensack Sports) contributed with 10 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Five Steaua CSM players scored in double figures. Serbian center Ivan Zigeranovic (212-84, agency: BeoExcell) replied with 20 points and 6 rebounds and American Kyndall Dykes (192-87, college: New Orleans) added 12 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for U-Banca TR. Steaua CSM are looking forward to face Craiova (#5) at home in the next round. U-Banca TR will play against CSU Sibiu and is hoping to win this game.
