It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Asker Aliens. Asker Aliens were ahead by 10 points at the halftime before a 45-29 second half run of Tromso. Asker Aliens were plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for Bulgarian guard Kiril Raykov (192-87) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds. American guard Keon Lawrence (187-87, college: Seton Hall) helped adding 17 points and 10 rebounds. At the losing side the former international guard Espen Stien (186-86) responded with 22 points and DR Congolese power forward Djo Yele (203-82) scored 8 points and 14 rebounds. Asker Aliens' coach Rob Knight rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Tromso moved-up to third place, which they share with Kongsberg. Defending champion Asker Aliens dropped to the seventh position with ten games lost. Tromso will play against Baerum Basket (#8) in Bekkestua in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Asker Aliens will have a break next round.
