Not a big story in a game when 13th ranked Taranto (6-17) was defeated at home by sixth ranked Pescara (16-8) 72-56 on Sunday. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Emidio Di Donato (200-92) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 7 rebounds and forward Valerio Polonara (198-84) who added 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Five Pescara players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was point guard Valerio Circosta (188-87) with 15 points, 5 assists and 4 steals and swingman Stefano Poti (192-91) scored 11 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Pescara moved-up to fifth place in B. Loser Taranto keeps the thirteenth position with 17 games lost. Pescara will face Porto S.Elpidio (#11) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Taranto will play against Giulianova and hope to win that game.
