There was a minor upset when 7th ranked Malbas (12-17) were defeated on the road by ninth ranked KFUM Jamtland (9-19) 80-74 on Tuesday. Malbas were trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 2-point lead after three quarters before a 23-15 charge of KFUM Jamtland, which allowed them to win the game. They also forced 22 Malbas turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Corin Henry (180-88, college: Tarleton St., agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists and Estonian swingman Jaan Puidet (191-92) who added 13 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Five KFUM Jamtland players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American guard Darion Rackley (190-92, college: Jacksonville St.) with 21 points and 6 rebounds and the former international center Carl Engstrom (216-91, college: Alabama) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 14 rebounds. KFUM Jamtland maintains ninth position with 9-19 record. Newly promoted Malbas dropped to the eighth place with 17 games lost. KFUM Jamtland will face bottom-ranked Umea (#11) on the road in the next round.
