Semi-Finals Game 1: Budivelnyk - Halychyna 78-53

Budivelnyk cruised past Halychyna to take 1-0 lead in the semis. The game was mostly controlled by Budivelnyk. Halychyna was better in second period 18-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Budivelnyk dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Halychyna's 24. Budivelnyk forced 30 Halychyna turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Point guard Vitaliy Zotov (186-97, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) nailed 10 points and 9 assists for the winning side and forward Vladyslav Kondratyev (203-90, college: Bryant) accounted for 16 points and 6 rebounds. Four Budivelnyk players scored in double figures. Center Volodymyr Orlenko (213-85) came up with 9 points and 12 rebounds and the former international center Volodymyr Gurtovyy (207-75) added 17 points respectively for Halychyna in the defeat.
