Budivelnyk cruised past Halychyna to take 1-0 lead in the semis. The game was mostly controlled by Budivelnyk. Halychyna was better in second period 18-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Budivelnyk dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Halychyna's 24. Budivelnyk forced 30 Halychyna turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists.
