Regular Season Round 22: Pure Youth - KKL 90-76

Leader Pure Youth delivered the nineteenth win on Friday night. This time they beat 7th ranked KKL (4-23) 90-76. The game was mostly controlled by Pure Youth. KKL managed to win fourth quarter 24-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded KKL 46-24 including a 20-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. American power forward Darian Townes (208-84) fired a double-double by scoring 25 points, 16 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners. The former international swingman Wen-Cheng Tsai (190-85) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds. American center Kyle Barone (208-89, college: Idaho) produced 15 points and 6 rebounds and guard Chi-Kuan Cheng (188-94) added 15 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four KKL players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Pure Youth have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 19-6 record. KKL lost twelfth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 23 lost games. Pure Youth are looking forward to face league's second-placed Taiwan Beer in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. KKL will play against the league's second-placed Taiwan Beer (#2) and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
