Bottom-ranked Ciudad managed to get the second consecutive victory. This time newly promoted Ciudad outleveled tenth-ranked Panteras in Ciudad Juarez 102-78. It's especially surprising that the victory came too easily and 24-point difference proves that Ciudad was well-prepared to that game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Panteras' players. The former international power forward Arim Solares (202-83) orchestrated the victory by scoring 16 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. American center Dee Proby (208-88, college: Oklahoma City) contributed with 17 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Ciudad players scored in double figures. Coach Helman Torres's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest.
