There was no surprise in Monterrey where 9th ranked Santos (12-28) were defeated by third ranked Fuerza Regia (24-17) 102-93 on Saturday. Fuerza Regia made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Tyrone White (201-90, college: CSU Bakersfield) who helped to win the game recording 24 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists and the other American import forward Leroy Davis (200-81, college: Georgia St.) who added 14 points during the contest. Five Fuerza Regia players scored in double figures. The former international forward Victor Mariscal (198-72) responded with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 10 rebounds and American forward Chris Cayole (201-85, college: St.Michael's) scored 18 points and 6 rebounds. Fuerza Regia maintains third position with 24-17 record having thirteen points less than leader Soles. Santos lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the bottom. They share the position with Panteras.
