Inter Bratislava left no chance for visiting Karlovka in the opener. The game was mostly controlled by Inter Bratislava. Karlovka was better in second period 20-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Inter Bratislava dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Karlovka's 42 and made 18-of-21 charity shots (85.7 percent) during the game. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
