Regular Season Round 44: Okinawa GK - Takamatsu FA 77-65

There was no surprise when 11th ranked Takamatsu FA (9-29) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Okinawa GK (28-10) 77-65 on Sunday. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Takamatsu FA was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. Worth to mention a great performance of Anthony McHenry (202-83, college: Georgia Tech) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Draelon Burns (194-85, college: De Paul) who added 23 points and 5 assists during the contest. Forward Jarvis Williams (198-89, college: Minn.St.-Mankato) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 19 rebounds and 4 assists and power forward Anthony Kent (208-83, college: Ball St.) scored 12 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Okinawa GK have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place. Takamatsu FA lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with 29 games lost. Okinawa GK will face Bambitious Nara (#8) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Takamatsu FA will play against Hiroshima L. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
