No shocking result in a game when first ranked Albacete (15-3) outleveled at home 14th ranked Casvi (5-13) 83-54 on Sunday. The game without a history. Albacete led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Casvi to just 6 points in second quarter. Albacete forced 22 Casvi turnovers and had a 26-15 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Albacete especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.9 percentage. American guard Garrett Nevels (188-92, college: Hawaii) stepped up and scored 21 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and Senegalese center Masine Fall (208-93) chipped in 13 points and 6 rebounds. The best for the losing side was point guard Hector Jimenez (183-94) with 16 points and forward Jorge Sanchez (198-94) scored 13 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Albacete have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain first place in Group B with 15-3 record. Casvi lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the fourteenth position with 13 games lost. Albacete will face Torrelodones (#8) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Casvi will play against Tenerife Naut. (#5) and hope to win that game.
