Everything went according to plan in Walbrzych where second ranked Gornik (18-4) won against 7th ranked WKK Wroclaw (10-12) 88-79 on Sunday. They outrebounded WKK Wroclaw 52-38 including a 41-29 advantage in defensive rebounds. Gornik looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by WKK Wroclaw's players. Power forward Pawel Bochenkiewicz (199-89) fired a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Marcin Wrobel (200-87) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Patryk Wilk (195-97) produced 21 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Michal Jedrzejewski (186-98) added 12 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists respectively for lost side. Four WKK Wroclaw players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Gornik keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Asseco II and Ksiezak Lowicz. WKK Wroclaw lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth place with 12 games lost.
