Very expected game when 9th ranked Fukuoka Rizing (14-26) was defeated at home by first ranked Shimane Magic (30-10) 61-52 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 37-25 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Shimane Magic outrebounded Fukuoka Rizing 56-31 including a 16-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Shimane Magic made 7 blocks. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Josh Davis (203-91, college: San Diego St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points, 31 rebounds and 6 blocks and forward Scootie Randall (198-90, college: Temple) who added 12 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Fukuoka Rizing's coach Tomohiro Moriyama tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Shimane Magic have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 30-10 record. Fukuoka Rizing lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with 26 games lost.
