Regular Season Round 26: LF Basket - Umea 80-65

No shocking result in a game when second ranked LF Basket (22-8) beat bottom-ranked Umea (4-26) in Lulea 80-65. It looked good early as Umea took a 2-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then LF Basket had a 21-12 second period charge getting the lead and Umea was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 65-80. The best player for the winners was American guard Alex Wesby (198-80, college: Temple) who scored 20 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Croatian guard Toni Prostran (182-91) chipped in 11 points and 8 assists. Five LF Basket players scored in double figures. Egal Saleman (201-88) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds and DR Congolese-Canadian forward Yannick Anzuluni (204-87, college: Houghton) added 16 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. LF Basket have an impressive 13-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 22-8 record having five points less than leader Sodertalje. Umea lost twelfth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 26 lost games.
