Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both ninth ranked Nafta-Uni. and 10th ranked Silute had identical 16-19 record. But Silute was not able to use a home court advantage and was crushed by the opponent from Klaipeda 104-85 on Friday night. The guests trailed by 6 points at the halftime before their 57-32 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Nafta-Uni. dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Silute's 40. The best player for the winners was forward Raidas Nacius (196-91) who scored 29 points and 7 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). Forward Viktoras Chodosovskis (200-89) chipped in 27 points and 6 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). American guard Ulysses Thomas (190, college: Kentucky St., agency: Regeneracom Sports) produced 22 points and 5 assists and center Aurelijus Pukelis (206-94) added 15 points and 11 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Four Nafta-Uni. and five Silute players scored in double figures. Silute's coach Petras Jonikas rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Nafta-Uni. have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to eighth place. Silute at the other side keeps the tenth position with 20 games lost. Nafta-Uni. will have a break next round. Silute will play on the road against Petrochema (#9) in Jonava and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
