Very important is a loss of third ranked Dacin Tigers (17-12) against fourth ranked Yulon Luxgen (16-13) on Saturday night. Dacin Tigers were defeated by Yulon Luxgen in a tough game 71-80. Yulon Luxgen trailed by 13 points at the halftime before their 46-24 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was Canadian center Liam McMorrow (218-87, college: Tenn Tech, agency: Worldwide Career Management) who had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 16 rebounds. The former international forward Cheng-Ju Lu (194-86) chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Yi-Xiang Zhou (191-91) who recorded 28 points and American-New Zealand center Bryan Davis (206-86, college: Texas A&M) added 15 points and 17 rebounds respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Yulon Luxgen maintains fourth position with 16-13 record. Dacin Tigers at the other side keep the third place with 12 games lost. Yulon Luxgen will meet league's leader Pure Youth in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Dacin Tigers will play against the league's second-placed Taiwan Beer and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
