Regular Season Round 23: Siarka - Torun 59-84

Not a big story in a game when 14th ranked Stabill (5-19) was outscored by fourth ranked Twarde Pierniki (19-6) in Tarnobrzeg 84-59 on Saturday. The game without a history. Twarde Pierniki led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Stabill's 32. They outrebounded Stabill 45-27 including 33 on the defensive glass. American Markeith Cummings (198-88, college: Kennesaw St.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 28 points. Montenegrin center Stevan Milosevic (211-85, agency: Interperformances) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Twarde Pierniki had such big advantage that coach Jacek Winnicki felt comfortable to give the chance to play for 10 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Forward Jakub Patoka (200-94) answered with 11 points and 6 rebounds and Jakub Zalewski (184-86) added 12 points in the effort for Stabill. Twarde Pierniki moved-up to third place. Loser Stabill dropped to the fifteenth position with 19 games lost. Twarde Pierniki will face league's leader Stelmet in Zielona Gora in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Stabill will play on the road against MKS Start (#17) in Lublin and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
