No shocking result in a game when second ranked TG Neuss (16-4) beat at home 7th ranked TuSLi Berlin (8-12) 79-61 on Sunday. The game without a history. TG Neuss led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. TG Neuss forced 21 TuSLi Berlin turnovers and outrebounded them 39-21 including 27 on the defensive glass. It was a very good performance for Canadian guard Karly Roser (178-93, college: Northwestern) who helped to win the game recording 16 points, 7 assists and 5 steals. American guard Marquita Waller (180-88, college: VCU) contributed with 18 points and 5 steals for the winners. Forward Patricia Brossmann (181-97) replied with 15 points and 5 rebounds and Lena Gohlisch (173-93) added 11 points in the effort for TuSLi Berlin. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. TG Neuss have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position in North with 16-4 record having eight points less than leader Bad Aibling. Loser TuSLi Berlin keeps the seventh place with 12 games lost.
