The game between closely ranked teams ended with 6th ranked Prinemanye's (7-15) road loss to fifth ranked Vitebsk (15-7) 68-101 on Sunday. The game without a history. Vitebsk led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 24-of-30 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Vitebsk forced 20 Prinemanye turnovers. Prinemanye was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Forward Marsel Ovsepian (202-90) fired 22 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Forward Victor Ovsepyan (204-91) chipped in 15 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Vitebsk players scored in double figures. Vitebsk's coach felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Pavel Bliznets (210-94) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots) and point guard Grigoriy Kruk (181-98) added 16 points respectively for lost side. The victory was the tenth consecutive win for Vitebsk. They maintain fifth place with 15-7 record. Loser Prinemanye keeps the sixth position with 15 games lost. Vitebsk will face bottom-ranked GOCOR-Sozh (#8) in Gomel in the next round.
