Bakken coasted past Stevnsgade to gain 1-0 lead in the series. The game without a history. Bakken led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Stevnsgade's 34. Bakken forced 22 Stevnsgade turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Stevnsgade's players. The former international forward Morten Sahlertz (198-89) fired 22 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. Senegalese center Michel Diouf (208-89) chipped in 20 points. Five Bakken players scored in double figures. American forward Adrian Moss (204-81, college: Florida) produced 11 points and 8 rebounds and French Bruno Cingala-Mata (200-93) added 12 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
