Very important is a road loss of first ranked Marinos (20-9) against fourth ranked Trotamundos (12-14) on Tuesday night. Visiting Marinos were defeated by Trotamundos in a tough game in Valencia 89-97. Trotamundos looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The former international point guard David Cubillan (181-87, college: Marquette, agency: Pro Sports) fired a double-double by scoring 17 points, 6 rebounds and 14 assists for the winners. The former international Dwight Lewis (197-87, college: USC) chipped in 20 points and 5 rebounds. Trotamundos' coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American-Georgian point guard Corey Fisher (186-88, college: Villanova, agency: Octagon Europe) produced 20 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists and the former international forward Juan Herrera (197-81) added 17 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Trotamundos moved-up to third place. Defending champion Marinos still keep top position with nine games lost. Trotamundos will again meet at home league's leader Marinos in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Marinos will have a break next round.
