There was a change at the National League leadership position after last games. Round 22 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Ironi Kiryat Ata (16-6). They were edged by eleventh ranked Hapoel Migd.H. (9-13) 78-76 on Tuesday night. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Ironi Kiryat Ata. Guard Itamar Mor (188-94) had a double-double by scoring 27 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Nigerian forward Andy Ogide (204-87, college: Colorado St., agency: HMS) chipped in 19 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Hapoel Migd.H.'s coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side American power forward Dallis Joyner (203-90, college: Stony Brook) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds and Tomer Ginat (202-94) scored 18 points and 8 rebounds. Hapoel Migd.H. moved-up to eighth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Ironi Kiryat Ata at the other side dropped to the second position with six games lost. They share it with Hapoel B/S and Hapoel G/A. They were replaced at the leadership position by Galil Gilboa. Ironi Kiryat Ata will play next round against Elitzur Yavne trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Hapoel Migd.H. will try to continue on its current victory against ninth ranked Hasharon in Ramat Hasharon.
