Regular Season Round 27: CFBB - Bordeaux 64-91

Bottom-ranked CFBB is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 28th consecutive match to sixteenth ranked JSA Bordeaux (12-15) 91-64 on Friday evening. The game without a history. JSA Bordeaux led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to CFBB's 34. They outrebounded CFBB 54-25 including a 22-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. JSA Bordeaux looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was an exceptional evening for Lithuanian point guard Eigirdas Zukauskas (201-92) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 12 rebounds. American forward Mike Myers (206-92, college: Md-E Shore) accounted for 22 points and 15 rebounds for the winning side. Swingman Bathiste Tchouaffe (195-98) came up with 15 points and 4 assists and Jaylen Hoard (202-99) added 12 points respectively for CFBB in the defeat. Four CFBB players scored in double figures. CFBB's coach Jean-Aime Toupane gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the third consecutive win for JSA Bordeaux. They moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Mulhouse and Challans. CFBB lost their twenty eighth game in a row. They still close the standings. JSA Bordeaux will meet at home Mulhouse Basket (#12) in the next round. CFBB will play against La Rochelle (#16) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
