Regular Season Round 23: Mieres BVM - Agustinos-Eras 86-80

Leading Agustinos-Eras (15-3) recorded its third loss on the court of third ranked Mieres BVM on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by Mieres BVM 86-80. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Agustinos-Eras. Agustinos-Eras was trailing by 7 points at halftime but managed to get 3-point lead after three quarters before a 33-24 charge of Mieres BVM, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was American forward Tim Dezelski (198-90, college: Hillsdale, agency: Duran International) who scored 13 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Point guard Bernat Camarasa (184-95) chipped in 23 points. Five Mieres BVM players scored in double figures. Guard Jaime Dieguez (184-89) produced 30 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and American forward Dionte Ferguson (198-92, college: S.Alabama) added 21 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) respectively for the guests. Agustinos-Eras' coach Adrian Alvarez rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Mieres BVM maintains third place in Group A-B with 13-5 record having just fifteen point less than leader Badajoz. Loser Agustinos-Eras still keeps top position with three games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
