Quarter-Finals Round 3: Bakken - Stevnsgade 91-64

Date: March 21, 2016
Bakken toppled Stevnsgade to sweep the series. The game was mostly controlled by Bakken. Stevnsgade was better in third quarter 23-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Stevnsgade to just 6 points in second quarter. Bakken dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Stevnsgade's 32. Bakken forced 19 Stevnsgade turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. It was a good game for American Shawn Glover (201-90, college: ORU, agency: Comsport) who led his team to a victory with 23 points. The former international swingman Thomas Laerke (195-91) contributed with 19 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American power forward Alonzo Brooks (201-84, college: Central Mo.) answered with 14 points and 8 rebounds and French Bruno Cingala-Mata (200-93) added 10 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Stevnsgade. Four Stevnsgade players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
