Regular Season Round 23: Hapoel G/A - Maccabi Raanana 89-86

The most exciting game of round 23 in the National League took place in Afula. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 5th ranked Maccabi Raanana (14-9) to third ranked Hapoel Afula (17-6) 89-86 on Tuesday evening. Four Maccabi Raanana players scored in double figures. Maccabi Raanana's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Hapoel Afula have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Ironi K-A. Maccabi Raanana at the other side keeps the fifth position with nine games lost. They share it with Ironi Ramat Gan. Hapoel Afula is looking forward to face Hapoel B/S (#4) in Beer Sheva in the next round. Maccabi Raanana will play at home against Hapoel Kazrin and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
