Second Stage Round 6: Anagennises - Enosis 61-76
Date: March 25, 2016
Bottom-ranked Anagennises is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 20th consecutive match to sixth ranked Enosis (7-13) 76-61 on Friday evening. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 13-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 76-61. American forward Tim Huskisson (197-92, college: N.Colorado) notched 18 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and the other American import forward Akida McLain (206-86, college: Indiana, PA, agency: Octagon Europe) supported him with 14 points and 8 rebounds. Enosis' coach Ioannis Livanos used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Even a double-double of 11 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists by Lithuanian forward Edvardas Vetrenka (197-84) did not help to save the game for Anagennises. American point guard Tez Dumars (191-93, college: W.Texas A&M) added 11 points and 10 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Enosis maintains sixth position with 7-13 record. Newly promoted Anagennises still closes the standings.
