Regular Season Round 18: Champville - Louaize 61-74

Bottom-ranked Louaize managed to get a fourth victory, breaking the four-game losing streak on Saturday night. This time newly promoted Louaize won against eighth-ranked Champville in Dik El Mehdi 74-61. The game was mostly controlled by Louaize. Champville managed to win fourth quarter 25-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Champville 39-27 including a 30-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. American guard Geron Johnson (190-92, college: Memphis) notched a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds to lead the effort and the other American import center Wendell Lewis (208-89, college: Alabama St.) supported him with 23 points and 6 rebounds. Even 27 points by American guard Marcus Banks (188-81, college: UNLV) did not help to save the game for Champville. Georgian power forward Nikoloz Tskitishvili (212-83, agency: Interperformances) added 15 points and 10 rebounds. Louaize (4-12) moved-up to eighth place. Champville lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom position with 13 games lost.
