Regular Season Round 49: Osaka Evessa - Bambitious Nara 77-65

Everything went according to plan when fifth ranked Osaka Evessa (30-14) defeated at home 9th ranked Bambitious Nara (15-30) 77-65 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Osaka Evessa. Bambitious Nara was better in fourth quarter 23-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Osaka Evessa forced 20 Bambitious Nara turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Quite impressive performance for American forward Lawrence Blackledge (206-86, college: Marquette) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 7 rebounds. Swingman Soma Takuya (181-91) contributed with 25 points and 5 assists for the winners. Blackledge is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Trinidad and Tobago power forward Julius Ashby (208-82, college: Colorado) answered with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 13 rebounds and American Josh Ritchart (206, college: Cal-Davis) added 13 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Bambitious Nara. Osaka Evessa maintains fifth place with 30-14 record. Bambitious Nara lost their seventh game in a row. They keep the ninth position with 30 games lost. Osaka Evessa will face again Bambitious Nara (#9) at home in the next round.
