Serbian-Montenegrin center Nemanja Calasan (204-85, college: Purdue) produced 14 points and 7 rebounds and American power forward Marvin Phillips (203-83, college: Claflin) added 4 points and 13 rebounds respectively for lost side. Caen's coach Herve Coudray rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Rueil moved-up to fifth place. Newly promoted Caen dropped to the sixth position with 12 games lost. They share it with GET Vosges. Rueil will meet Berck (#17) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Caen will play against Vendee Challans (#15) and hope to secure a win.
