Regular Season Round 24: Bourg - Nantes 81-73

Very predictable result when third ranked JL Bourg (16-8) won against at home 9th ranked Nantes (11-13) 81-73. The hosts were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. American players dominated the game. The best player for the winners was center Zachery Peacock (203-87, college: Georgia Tech) who scored 17 points and 8 rebounds. Brian Asbury (201-86, college: Miami, FL) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Allen Durham (198-88, college: Grace Bible) who recorded a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds and Storm Warren (201-88, college: LSU, agency: I.D.S. Law) added 13 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Nantes' coach Franck Collineau tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. JL Bourg have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Evreux. Nantes at the other side keeps the ninth position with 13 games lost. JL Bourg's next round opponent will be Saint-Quentin (#12) on the road and are hoping to win another game. Nantes will play against Lille Metropole and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
