Very predictable result when fifth ranked Fukushima (28-16) smashed at home 10th ranked Yokohama BC (18-28) 78-56 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Fukushima. Yokohama BC was better in third quarter 21-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American swingman Le'Bryan Nash (201-92, college: Oklahoma St.) scored 27 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward Bingo Merriex (206-80, college: TCU) chipped in 12 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. American forward Cory Johnson (200-88, college: Valparaiso) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds and Panamanian-American forward Jordan Henriquez (214-89, college: Kansas St.) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds. Yokohama BC's coach Taketo Aoki gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Fukushima have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 28-16 record. Yokohama BC lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the tenth place with 28 games lost. Fukushima will face higher ranked Akita Happinets (#4) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
