Regular Season Round 12: Guasave - Nogales 98-92

No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Frayles de Guasave (8-3) beat at home 6th ranked Fuerza Guinda Nogales (5-6) 98-92. Frayles de Guasave dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Fuerza Guinda Nogales' 36. Frayles de Guasave players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. The best player for the winners was Kevin Rogers (206-86, college: Baylor) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks. Guard Jeremie Hart (188, college: McMurry) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Jumaine Jones (202-79, college: Georgia) who recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists and guard Brandon Provost (190-90, college: UTRGV) added 27 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Five Frayles de Guasave and four Fuerza Guinda Nogales players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Frayles de Guasave have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Hermosillo. Fuerza Guinda Nogales at the other side keep the sixth position with six games lost. Frayles de Guasave's next round opponent will be again Fuerza Guinda Nogales (#6) at home.
