Semi-Finals Game 2: LF Basket - Norrkoping 52-60
Date: April 1, 2016
Norrkoping handed the second straight defeat to LF Basket. The guests were already 13 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 15-10 LF Basket's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 60-52 at the end of the game. Norrkoping Dolphins dominated on the defensive end, holding LF Basket to just 6 points in second quarter. They outrebounded LF Basket 48-30 including 34 on the defensive glass. The former international center Joakim Kjellbom (212-79, college: N.Arizona) notched a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds to lead the effort and guard Tim Schuberg (188-95) supported him with 16 points and 6 rebounds. Even a double-double of 20 points and 12 rebounds by Bahamas forward Jaraun Burrows (203-85, college: IPFW) did not help to save the game for LF Basket. Croatian guard Toni Prostran (182-91) added 10 points for the hosts. LF Basket's coach Peter Oqvist rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
