An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Groningen. Third ranked Groningen faced 4th placed Den Bosch. Host Groningen (19-6) defeated guests from Den Bosch (14-11) 81-65. Serbian-Canadian forward Dejan Kravic (211-90, college: Texas Tech) answered with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds and international point guard Leon Williams (183-91, agency: Court Side) added 13 points in the effort for Den Bosch. Den Bosch's coach Samuel Jones rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Groningen keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Leiden and Zwolle. Defending champion Den Bosch keeps the fourth place with 11 games lost. Groningen will play against bottom-ranked Weert (#8) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Den Bosch will play against Rotterdam (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
