Very expected game when 18th ranked Adanaspor (5-24) lost to tenth ranked Pertevniyal (13-16) in Istanbul 63-81. Pertevniyal forced 20 Adanaspor turnovers. The best player for the winners was swingman Okben Ulubay (200-97) who scored 35 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Berk Demir (203-95) chipped in 11 points and 8 rebounds. Latvian center Kaspars Kambala (206-78, college: UNLV) produced 19 points and 5 rebounds and American point guard Jahii Carson (178-92, college: Arizona St.) added 17 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Adanaspor's coach Timucin Meric tested ten players seeing no chance for a win. Pertevniyal moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Gelisim. Adanaspor lost fourth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 24 lost games. Pertevniyal's next round opponent will be higher ranked Denizli (#3) on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Adanaspor will play against Meliksah (#11) and hope to win that game.
