Regular Season Round 26: Tochigi Brex - Kumamoto V. 90-64

No shocking result in a game when second ranked Tochigi Brex (36-8) smashed at home 10th ranked Kumamoto V. (13-32) 90-64 on Sunday. The game without a history. Tochigi Brex led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Kumamoto V.'s 30. It was a great shooting night for Tochigi Brex especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American center Andrew Naymick (209-85, agency: Warren Sports International) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds. The other American import power forward Ryan Rossiter (204-89, college: Siena) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Tochigi Brex players scored in double figures. Tochigi Brex's coach Thomas Wisman felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Tenyoku You (194-88) produced 22 points and American center Joshua Crawford (211-88, college: Indiana St.) added 14 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. Tochigi Brex have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 36-8 record behind leader Toyota Alvark. Loser Kumamoto V. keeps the tenth place with 32 games lost. Tochigi Brex will face Chiba Jets (#7) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Kumamoto V. will play against the league's leader Toyota Alvark and hope to win that game.
