There was an upset when 4th placed Lecco (17-9) was defeated on the road by eighth ranked Padova (13-14) 64-54 on Sunday. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Padova made 8 blocks. It was a great evening for forward Enrico Crosato (194-85) who led his team to a victory scoring 8 points and 9 rebounds. Naturalized Dominican guard Jean Carlos Canelo (188-89) helped adding 10 points and 6 steals. Padova's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was forward Andrea Dagnello (190-91) with 24 points and point guard Davide Todeschini (180-93) scored 14 points and 5 rebounds.
