Everything went according to plan in Givataim where twelfth ranked Hap.R/G Givat. (8-17) outscored bottom-ranked Ironi Ashkelon (3-22) 97-74. Hap.R/G Givat. dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Ironi Ashkelon's 50. Hap.R/G Givat. had a 23-12 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. American center Derrick Caracter (206-88, college: UTEP) nailed a double-double by scoring 21 points, 19 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and guard Tomer Pisecki (193-83) accounted for 19 points.
