Regular Season Round 31: St Vallier - CFBB 92-61

Bottom-ranked CFBB (0-32) is still winless. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they lost on the road their 32th consecutive match to fourth ranked Saint Vallier (19-12) 92-61 on Saturday evening. The game without a history. Saint Vallier led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to CFBB's 38. They outrebounded CFBB 40-24 including 26 on the defensive glass. Saint Vallier looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Jonathan Hoyaux (196-88) fired 22 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Center Tanguy Ramassamy (205-90, agency: Court Side) chipped in 11 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Swingman Sekou Omar Doumbouya (200-0) produced 14 points and 5 rebounds and forward Ivan Fevrier (200-99) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four CFBB players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Saint Vallier moved-up to second place, which they share with Lourdes and GET Vosges. Loser CFBB still closes the standings. Saint Vallier will meet Mulhouse Basket (#16) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. CFBB will play against Caen and hopes to get finally their first victory.
