Rather predictable result when third ranked Aris (20-6) won against 7th ranked Kolossos (11-15) in Thessaloniki 83-68 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Aris. Kolossos managed to win third quarter 21-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American forward Jamelle Hagins (206-90, college: Delaware) notched 13 points to lead the effort and American-Israeli Jake Cohen (209-90, college: Davidson) supported him with 13 points. Even 11 points by Giannoulis Larentzakis (195-93, agency: Octagon Europe) did not help to save the game for Kolossos. Christos Saloustros (201-90, agency: Octagon Europe) added 12 points for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Aris maintains third position with 20-6 record having five points less than leader Olympiacos. Kolossos lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth place with 15 games lost. They share the position with Nea Kifisia.
