Panathinaikos defeated PAOK to take 2-1 lead in the semifinal series. Panathinaikos dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to PAOK's 26. They outrebounded PAOK 38-17 including a 32-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. Panathinaikos looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by PAOK's players. American power forward Diana Delva (188-88, college: Hartford) fired 22 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. The former international guard Lolita Lymoura (180-85) chipped in 15 points and 6 assists (perfect from the field making all six shots). Panathinaikos' coach Konstantinos Papadopoulos felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international guard Nafsika Stavridou (182-86) produced 16 points and forward Anthoula Tarpagkou (176-90) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side.
