Very predictable result when fifth ranked Hamamatsu Phoenix (32-15) defeated on the road 11th ranked Takamatsu FA (11-35) 79-74 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 5 points after three quarters before their 22-12 charge, which allowed them to win the game. American guard Kejuan Johnson (193-85, college: Long Beach St., agency: Inception Sports) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners and his fellow American import forward Reginald Warren (204-81, college: W.Florida) chipped in 15 points and 10 rebounds. Hamamatsu Phoenix's coach Tomoya Higashino used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. American forward Jarvis Williams (198-89, college: Minn.St.-Mankato) responded with 20 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Tsubasa Yonezawa (183-85) scored 17 points (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Four Hamamatsu Phoenix and five Takamatsu FA players scored in double figures. Hamamatsu Phoenix moved-up to third place, which they share with Akita NH. Takamatsu FA lost their sixth game in a row.
