Semi-Finals Game 5: Valur - Skallagrimur 82-85

Skallagrimur upset Valur in the decisive fifth game of the series and sealed their D1 Finals appearance. Valur trailed by 12 points after 3 quarters before a 25-16 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 82-85 at the end of the game. Bahamas swingman J.R. Cadot (196-87, college: TCU) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 23 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners and point guard Sigtryggur Bjornsson (180-93) chipped in 23 points and 4 assists. Skallagrimur's coach Petur Ingvarsson used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American guard Jamie Stewart (193-91, college: Montana St., agency: Inception Sports) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals and guard Illugi Steingramsson (190-96) scored 23 points and 5 rebounds.
