Very predictable result in Pistoia where sixth ranked Giorgo Tesi PT (14-13) defeated 13th ranked O.Lavoro BO (10-17) 88-76. It looked good early as O.Lavoro BO took a 5-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Giorgo Tesi PT had a 25-14 second period charge getting the lead and O.Lavoro BO was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 76-88. It was a good game for American guard Preston Knowles (187-89, college: Louisville) who led his team to a victory with 20 points. His fellow American import center Alex Kirk (211-91, college: N.Mexico) contributed with 13 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Giorgo Tesi PT players scored in double figures. American center Dexter Pittman (208-88, college: Texas) answered with 19 points and 9 rebounds and American-Bulgarian point guard Andre Collins (183-82, college: Loyola, MD) added 11 points in the effort for O.Lavoro BO. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Giorgo Tesi PT moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Banco di Srd and Dolomiti En. TR.
