Regular Season Round 27: Nantes - Boulazac 82-79

There was a minor upset when 7th ranked Boulazac Basket (14-13) was edged on the road by ninth ranked Nantes (14-13) 82-79 on Tuesday. Boulazac Basket cut a 14-point halftime deficit to three at the end of the game. It was a great shooting night for Nantes especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.9 percentage. American players dominated the game. It was a good game for power forward Allen Durham (198-88, college: Grace Bible) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. Storm Warren (201-88, college: LSU, agency: I.D.S. Law) contributed with 15 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Durham is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Nantes' coach Franck Collineau used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Point guard Tweety Carter (180-86, college: Baylor) answered with 22 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and power forward Franklin Hassell (203-88, college: ODU, agency: Inception Sports) added 19 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Boulazac Basket. The victory was the third consecutive win for Nantes. They moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Boulazac. Nantes will face Souffelweyersheim (#17) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
