An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Beer Sheva. Second ranked Ironi Kiryat Ata faced one of their biggest challengers Hapoel B/S. Guests from Kiryat Ata (20-6) defeated host Hapoel B/S (18-8) 74-61. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Hapoel B/S. Ironi Kiryat Ata forced 19 Hapoel B/S turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was naturalized Canadian point guard Simon Farine (188-87) who scored 19 points. Tomer Ginat (202-94) chipped in 11 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Five Ironi Kiryat Ata players scored in double figures. American power forward Raymond Sykes (206-86, college: Clemson, agency: Three Eye Sports) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds and swingman Ohad Cohen (194-87) added 16 points and 5 assists respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ironi Kiryat Ata have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 20-6 record behind leader Galil Gilboa. Newly promoted Hapoel B/S keeps the third place with eight games lost. They share the position with Hapoel G/A.
