Kotwica topped Gimbasket PRZM and advanced into the next round of action. Kotwica dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Gimbasket PRZM's 24. Kotwica forced 19 Gimbasket PRZM turnovers and outrebounded them 46-31 including a 36-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Kotwica players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists comparing to just 3 passes made by Gimbasket PRZM's players. It was a great evening for Grzegorz Arabas (191-78, agency: Promotex) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points and 6 assists. Point guard Dawid Mieczkowski (188-89, agency: Promotex) helped adding 12 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Kotwica players scored in double figures. Kotwica's coach Pawel Blechacz felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was point guard Wiktor Majka (188-98) with 15 points and forward Tomasz Krzywdzinski (200-95) scored 7 points and 8 rebounds.
