Bucaneros cruised past Guauqueries to open win count in the series. Bucaneros led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot the lights out from three nailing 15 long-distance shots on high 51.7 percentage. American swingman Justin Carter (193-87, college: Creighton, agency: Pensack Sports) orchestrated the victory by scoring 13 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international guard John Cox (194-81, college: USF, agency: Pensack Sports) contributed with 21 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Five Bucaneros players scored in double figures. The former international swingman Francisco Centeno (201-85) replied with 19 points and American center Dwayne Jones (211-83, college: St.Joseph's) added 9 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Guaiqueries. Guaiqueries' coach Juan Jose Pidal gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win.
